Dutch side AZ Alkmaar are angry with Liverpool and Arsenal after losing two of their top young stars to the English duo.
Liverpool have raided AZ to sign 17-year-old striker Vincent Weijl, while Arsenal have acquired 15-year-old midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup.
The young pair have agreed personal terms with both clubs to make the move to England.
The double raid on their academy has upset AZ who will only receive a nominal fee in compensation for the education of the teenagers.
AZ sports director Marcel Brands admits there is nothing they can do to stop bigger clubs luring their best young players away.
"We know how the case is, we are completely powerless against it here," Brands told Algemeen Dagblad. (skysports) |
